In most cases the base of Margarita cocktail consists of tequila, orange liqueur (Triple Sec, Grand Marnier or Cointreau), and sweet and sour mix (lemonade or lime juice) and it is often served on ice with salt on the glass rim.

KomburitaNow, by adding to the Margarita mix a few drops of your favourite Kombucha you will enter the heavenly realms of a new concoction called Komburita! Your favorite probiotic fizzy beverage is ready to up your cocktail game!

The secret to the perfect Komburita is the right ratio of tequila, orange liqueur, sweet and sour mix and Kombucha.

So, here’s our Komburita Recipe:

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 1 oz Sweet and Sour Mix (lemonade)
  • 1/2 oz Orange Liqueur (Preferable Grand Marnier)
  • 1 oz Kombucha
  • Add all the ingredients into a shaker with ice, and shake until chilled
  • Strain into a rocks glass over ice
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and salt (optional)
